I was just wondering what everyone's favorite C64 game is.  Actually, feel free to list multiple games.

And aside from favorite, what do you consider some of the best games for the C64?

Wardan, this should be right up your alley. Smiley

Can't really think of too much favorites....

Exile and Turrican, but both were better on the Amiga...

Favorite game was "Stranded"

It was a text based adventures game where you were a WWI pilot who was shot down on a Japanese Island.  Your goal was to evade the enemy while finding hidden objects needed to escape - key, gas can, boat.

The game was widely popular in my neighborhood - I wrote it!

That's cool.  Was it published anywhere?

If not, can you share it with us somehow?

I don't recall the title of this one, but it was a 2d platformer where you were in a castle and collecting gems... great fun!

THE DUCK GAME!!!  -- if anyone knows what that even is. It's a strange little game, you play as Donald Duck, dodging pterodactyls, falling limbs and this little sprite thing that looks something like Goofy. It has some really awesome music too! I love the first level's music especially

I also like Rainbow Islands and checkers.

not exactly a game however i like messing with terrapin logo's drawing thingy. Kinda like a Spiro-graph thing.

I guess that's because of a time zone difference.  Are you in central time?
