If I had one of those, it would have been one of the first ones to go.  I always wanted to crack one of those open.

Actually, now that I think about it, I had a weird round etch-a-sketch that looked kinda like a ship porthole.  It was red with a black ring that you could rotate around the drawing area.  I took that apart, of course, but was disappointed with what I found inside.
