This sounds pretty easy:

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Twilight_Hack

I'm tempted to try it.

Thats what I did to mine. Some homebrew stuff may require you to downgrade the Wii dashboard to 3.2.... Not that difficult to do.

I think I'll try it out soon when I get the chance.

What homebrew apps do you run on your Wii, Andy?  How about you, th3fr3ak?

Mainly emulators on mine. SNES and Megadrive mainly. Not tried media center apps on mine as I use XBMC on the Xbox.

Do you recommend any particular emulators for the Wii?  And how does the display on a TV set look in most emulators -- is it comparable to Virtual Console video quality?

Last night I did the Twilight Hack on my Wii and installed the Homebrew Channel.  It was easy to do, and everything still works.

It's pretty neat so far.  I've played around with ScummVM, Snes9x GX, which both work pretty well.  Sadly, FCE Ultra GX (the NES emulator) hasn't worked so far.  Maybe later today I'll try some other apps like media players, etc.

Actually, there's a great one here, so I don't have to:

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Setting_up_your_Wii_for_Homebrew

That's the one I followed.  That WiiBrew Wiki is excellent.

I also highly recommend the Homebrew Browser:

http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_Browser

It's like a VC store for homebrew (that's free!).  It lets you download homebrew directly to your Wii from the Net, and it will keep it up to date for you.  Awesome, awesome.

I also got the NES emulator working; it's great.  So is the SNES one.  I'll try to the Genesis one soon.
