Pulsating light around the base that pulsates to the sound coming from the X-Box and finally the jewel LED's which should quite easy to do, I will be posting pictures of what I Have done so far tomorrow

That's what Jeff Minter made Neon for...

LOL, no Nuon was that cool console DVD player thing that was in Best Buy for like a week.

NEON is the Xbox 360 visualizer (stick an audio CD inside your XB360 or play an MP3 to start it up), it's an extension of Jeff Minter's Lightsynth for the Atari Jaguar and it is TRIPPY. AS. HELL.

Wow, I didn't know Minter had a VLM inside the Xbox 360.  That's amazing that he's still working on that.  It's come a long way from the Jaguar CD (which is personally my favorite feature of the Jaguar CD).

Unless it's like you wrapped the whole console in OLED screen so it looks like Neon on the console itself, it's not as cool. Sorry. Sad

Cool, man.  I like the "pulse VU" thing, although is it silly that I got more excited by a brief glimpse of an illuminated N64 in that video? Smiley
