We're not supposed to go over specifics because we're under NDA, but I guess it would be safe to ask, did anyone else here get into Quake Live beta? Don't tell anything else, just yes or no.

To be honest, Quake never interested me, so I didn't even try. Hope it's fun!

Quake Live?  Is that some sort of massively multiplayer Quake where you can buy hoodies and cargo pants for your Quakeguy and furniture for your Quake house?  Grin

Nope. It's Quake III you play in your browser, with an XBL-esque matchmaking system. :3

I have the real Quake 3 Arena.  I doubt Quake Live would interest me.

I doubt that a new and improved Q3 engine (with some modern day features), an AWESOME new matchmaking system and exclusive levels would interest you either.

Me neither, for some reason.  I also don't understand the current obsession over trying to cram every application into a web browser.
