Classic PC Design Mistakes.

The biggest mistake in my opinion was IBM doing away with the "clicky" keyboard.

I found a black one a few years back on ebay. Still clicked like the old ones I was used to. There's just something secure about a keyboard that clicks.

You're thinking of the famous "Model M" -- I did a teardown of my 1986 Model M (that I'm typing on right now) for PC World last year:

Very entertaining and informative. I like to call that "enterfomative." OK I'll stop that before I make an even bigger idiot of myself.
That's by far the best keyboard ever made and glad you did an article about it.
