Going through the attic the other month I found these relics of my childhood, and I was wondering if anyone might be able to put them to good use:

Tomytronic 3D Skyfighters with Stereo Sound
Tomytronic Planet Zeon
2x Playskool Maximus
Dingbot
Dogbot

All of them need repairs, and for all I know may only be useful for parts. Looking inside the cases some of the wires have come astray, including the ones leading to the audio outputs on the Tomytronic games. One of the Maximus has had its battery case crudely repaired with lolly sticks. You can see pictures of everything here:

I am in Bexhill, East Sussex, England. I'll send them to anyone who wants them for just the postage cost, I have fond memories of these and I just want to try and find them a better home than the landfill.

Pickman,

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for posting this here.

I had one of those little Tomy robot guys when I was a kid.  I took it apart later, although I may still have some of the pieces.  Brings back good memories. Smiley

I'd be interesting in taking the stuff, but I live in the US, and shipping can be pretty expensive -- especially for mostly non-working things.  I'm most interested in the 3D games and the two little robots.  But I know that Andrew Armstrong on here lives in the UK, so maybe he'd like to have your items.

Andrew, any thoughts?

Benj

P.S. Great pictures, by the way!

Altogether the toys weigh about 1600 grams. A decent sized box might bring that up to 1900, which would cost just under $20 to send to the USA by surface mail. Just the Tomy stuff (robots+games) would be about 1kg, so around $12.

These have gone to a new home now, thanks for the replies.

Next I might have to dig my Spectrum +2 and games out of the attic and see if they still work.
