If you collect vintage games, computers, and associated peripherals, what methods do you use to locate items for your collections?

Lately, I've been searching through Craigslist for items of interest.

I primarily use Craigslist and message boards (like this one). I only resort to eBay if I have to. I haven't yet looked at some of the other game auction sites like chasethechuckwagon.com.

There's a game store at the local mall, and they sell NES games. I haven't found the time to go there and purchase one, but they do have a nice selection. Though, I usually go here - http://www.dkoldies.com/. I've dealt with them and I've found that they have good customer service, and fast shipping. When I found that site it was like the holy grail for me. It's where I got my Power Glove  Grin

With me, it's mostly eBay and forums.  I used to search Craigslist, but to be honest, I haven't found a single thing on it, and just gave up.

If it's out there, there's a good chance it's on E-bay.  Main reason I use Craigslist is because I'm looking for collectors items in my region.  I'd like to look at the item before buying instead getting something I didn't want.

Lately I've been seeing quite a few of the early iMacs (model built in the crt) in my area.  My guess is the schools are finally ridding themselves of them.  When I do find them for sale, the seller is selling 5 or more.
