I'm guessing they have Pentium 4s in them, in which case I wouldn't touch them with a ten meter cattle prod.  That era was essentially Intel's "lost weekend."  Luckily, they've found their way back since then.

Nah they are P3's as stated up in my OP. these are Optiplex GX150's

Ok, thanks.  IIRC the GX150 was a 1Ghz cpu, 2000-2001 vintage.  We had those, plus GX-240's (2.2ghz cpu) at work many many years ago.  For some reason I thought they were the larger form factor cases used by the 260, 270, and 280.
