Bubble Bobble!

Oh my dear friends, Bub and Bob. Those two, poor little boys.

If you don't know the story it's a game about 2 brothers who were turned into dinosaurs by a witch! Not only that, instead of breathing fire, which I know dinosaurs do not do anyways, you breath bubbles. You have to blow your bubble at an enemy and capture them in it. Once you have the enemy captured you are to burst the bubble which in turn causes the enemy to go flying. I guess it must be one hell of a air pressure difference to kill the enemy from popping the bubble they are in...

Anyways, I am not here to write a review, nor explain the entire game to you. I just want to share one of my experiences with this game that actually happened last night. It all began during lunch at work...

Adam(Co-Worker): What other games do you have for it?
Me: I have Bubble Bobble! I used to play that game for hours as a kid.
Adam: YOU HAVE BUBBLE BOBBLE?! I must come over one day to play it with you.
Me: How about tonight?
Adam: Sure!

So he came over, I threw the game in, and away we went! I couldn't believe how horrible I was at that game, but then again, I haven't played it for about 8 years now so bare with me lol. I learned many things in the game that I did not know previously. Like picking up shoes with make you faster, some candy will increase your blowing bubble speed, and a book... it makes a big boom! Well we went on through the game, determined to beat it. We started playing at 2AM and at 4:10AM we were on level 99. Now if you never played Bubble Bobble you will think we just did a speed run, but in fact each level is between 20 seconds to 5 minutes MAX! rarely ever close to 5 minutes! Anyways. We did the "Secret" to get the real last boss (that is grabbing a cape or something on level 99 then completeing it to the boss). This boss took us 20 minutes and about 20 retries.... so hard... but we beat him... unfortunately I did before the boss did and we got "Bad End!" So we did it again, started on level 99 did the whole thing again, this time we both lived. We did it, for the first time in MY life I beat bubble bobble... unfortunately I was wrong. How do I know I was wrong? Because those annoying words were back on the screen "Bad End!" So even after ALL that work, We still did not get the "Good and Happy End"

I still don't think I know how to get the Good ending, but let me tell you, Bubble Bobble is NOT for the faint of heart!
