Hi there,
I'm the new guy.
I collect vintage macs but i also own some other old stuff: C64, Sun Sparcstations, HP X-Terminal, a Ampex Terminal, a IBM PS/2 8086, a Dreamcast and a bizarre Atari 2600 clone. And then some more.
I'm interested in old Unix flavours and use Unix since '88 i think. My Workstation runs on Debian testing and my Server at home on NetBSD.
Current activities:
- the archival of every mac68k file i can lay my hands on since i fear that bitrot might be a problem in a few years (31GB sit compressed files and counting)
- the cleaning of all my computers (why o why did i start that?)
- getting a SE/30 or color classic with ethernet and a big external HDD
- sell the rest of my macs and some terminals since i run out of space
What else? Oh, i like to roast and grind coffee myself

.
See you later.
Hey there! Welcome to the forum -- it's always good to have another member.
Sounds like you've got some cool hobbies between the Unix stuff and collecting Mac 68k files. I've just recently started to try to collect all my Mac 68k files in one place from a dozen or more hard drives in different computers. They're mostly other people's files though, as I've inherited the former computer owners' games and applications.

Cleaning can be quite a chore too, and I've recently started doing that as well. With the use of melamine foam erasers, it goes a lot quicker than I always thought it would.
Anyway, welcome again. I hope you stick around and chat with us some more.
