Good job!

so I FINALLY figured out how to make dosbox play things other than Daggerfall, and I remembered this cool little shareware edutainment game I played called Word Rescue!

The best thing about the game was the title track. Unfortunately there's no direct access to the MIDI file, and my file ripper tool doesn't work on this PC for whatever reason. But I just found out DOSBOX can rip raw midi commands! So here is the title tune I ripped, emulated with AdPlug:

I remember hearing about Word Rescue, but I never played it.  All the Apogee shareware games are classics in my opinion -- even the bad ones.  They are just so nostalgic to me, since they remind me of my glorious BBS days.  Ah, those were the days. Smiley

Apogee was (not was) one of the best companies ever. And Word Rescue is really cool because it uses the Duke Nukem engine!
