HQX and SIT.BIN files

Yikes, the pains of obscure and obsolete Mac file formats has come home once again.
I've acquired some TIF images encoded in HQX format (the "binhex" binary to ASCII encoding scheme to prevent platforms other than Macs from messing up Mac files, etc.). I've also got some TIF images in SIT.BIN files, which are, if I recall, self-extacting Stuffit files.
But my current Mac, an iMac G4 running Tiger, which I wiped last year and haven't used much since, spits them out and won't do squat with them. I know I could do something with the files on my vintage OS 8 macs, but I don't want to drag them out right now. Does anybody have advice for extracting these files (especially the SIT.BIN files) on a Windows PC?

I've never done this, because I don't have a Mac, but I believe these pages should have some sort of information on this.

Hmmmm, after reading all of these, they have one thing in common: You need Stuffit Expander.

After you get them, check this out:

Stuffit Expander on OSX or Windows will convert the .BIN.HQX files into something usable, and will extract the .SIT files.

Thanks for the help.
I broke down (reluctantly) and installed Stuffit Explorer for Windows. It did the trick.
