I never even knew the NES had a deck enhancer. Guess you learn something everyday.  Grin

That's awesome, Fred.  I remember some years ago somebody was selling tons of new-in-box Aladdin deck enhancers and games on eBay and I picked up a set for very, very cheap.  The only problem is that I never got it to work on any NES -- so I'm not sure if they were a defective lot that the guy got a hold of or not.  I suspect that most of the Aladdins floating around these days came from that guy, because before he started selling them (he must have found a huge unsold lot of them in a warehouse), they were very rare.

I think the deck enhancers use thinner PCboard than licensed NES cartridges... So if your NES has trouble at all with licensed games, it'll be almost impossible to get the deck enhancer to work... most the deck enhancer games were eventually released as whole cartridges, which I've found to be easier to get working.  I bought my Deck enhancer at my local Game Crazy for $1.99 because they didn't have it in their inventory system's catalog... they did have the game that was inserted in it in the system... 4 quattro adventure...

We don't have any stores that sell NES games anymore, so my chances of finding a dick enhancer are slim to none. Sad

hrmmm....  uh huh.  Interesting....

....Anyhoo... my Game Crazy doesn't sell NES games anymore either.... I've found lately the best places to find  them are pawn shops... and they're usually $5 each... at least around here.
