Hi, I've bin reading this forum for a while and never actually got round to signing up as I'm lazy like that. Anyways I collect mainly old pc games with a few exceptions if I find them and a few console odds and end providing their cheap.

A while back I came into the possession of the large box floppy disc version of Warcraft I: Orcs and Humans. The problem is this, no matter how hard I look I can't find out how many discs this shipped with. I have four but I haven't had a pc with a working floppy drive in the time I've had the game. To date I've not seen the same version on ebay or even pictured online.

Does anyone have a copy or remember having it?
Is it the very first version to be shipped?
Is it worth anything (I paid nothing for it Grin )?

As you can see its not in perfect condition but I'm still chuffed with it as I have all the warcraft titles to date now Cheesy

heres a couple more favourites I've got pics from out of my collection.
Warcraft2

Zool boxed on amiga (and zool2 unboxed with wheel) Still got the stickers in this one  Grin

Welcome to the forum, Proficee!  I have the CD version of Warcraft (neat because it can be used in both Classic Macs and PCs), so I can't help here.  I'm glad that t3hfr3ak could help though.

Sadly, it does not. Although yours does have Interplay on it and mine has Blizzard, judging from that... I am not too good with the history of blizzard I would think yours is older than mine.

The only other thing I have to go on is the data this one was manufactured, 1994. So if yours is an earlier date than that would partially answer your question.

Also RW: If you ever want scans from the manual (which includes maps and other information) let me know and I will be happy to oblige.

The fact that his box says Interplay on it probably has something to do with him being in the UK (I assume).  So if it was the UK version of the game, it's possible if not likely Blizzard had a different publisher there than in North America (actually, Wikipedia seems to confirm this).

Also, Warcraft was released in 1994, so you wouldn't find an earlier date than that.
