So this is what the famous Super Breakout Astronaut does when he’s not battling gigantic rainbow force fields.
If you haven’t noticed, this painting is a Where’s Waldo sort of exercise. Here are the instructions:
The seaside has been invaded by characters and objects from 23 different Atari games — how many of them can you identify?

All from memory, so I could be off……
Superman – flying above the roller coaster
Pac-Man – on the ferris wheek
Super Breakout – the aforementioned astronaut
Pinball – the astronaut’s chair
Football – on the TV
Outlaw – the cowboy w/ the gun
Space Invaders – the “umbrella” of the cowboy from Outlaw
Chess – near the kids w/ the sandcastle
Cannonball – coming out of the pail
Basketball – above astronaut’s helmet
Yars Revenge – the bug coming out of the explosion
Combat – guessing with all of the battles going on
Defender – I think this was the space ship in the upper left
Grand Prix – the cars above the chess board
That’s 14.
Pure guesses
Adventure – either the castle or the wizard
the bat is something, but I can’t think what
Black Jack or Casino or something
There are three more obvious “somethings” around the umbrellas and I’m sure there is more the be pulled out of the sea battle

6 children were killed and 24 were injured today when the ship from Asteroids emerged from hyperspace and opened fire on a carousel at the beach….
