Cybernator is American. All of the American games I own. The rest are ZSNES. Don't get your undies in a bundle.

Star Ocean? Terranigma? Bahamut Lagoon? Clock Tower? Goemon 2? Cybernator? Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius? Clock Tower?

I had to look up Kitsune's choices as NONE of these were released in North America on SNES.

Really, I'm not trying to pick a fight. But Kitsune, have you owned let alone played any of these on the SNES?

Personally I have found it exceptionally difficult to draw credible opinions on games I have only read about on Wikipedia.

Chill Kitsune.
Super Mario RPG had revolutionary graphics for the SNES. SM RPG had a true 3D movement without pre-rendered graphics (unlike Donkey Kong Country and some of Yoshi's Island).

Super Suck RPG? Seriously, that game is overhyped and not fun. And it can't touch Yoshi's Island with a 10-foot pole graphically.

You guys might laugh at me but, I was always impressed by the 3d graphics on F-Zero. It just had a certain depth to it that impressed me at the time. And back in the NES days Super Mario Bros. 3's graphics blew my mind!

It depends on what you mean by best graphics.

If you consider 3d, than obviously Vortex, Dirt Trax FX, and Stunt Racer FX, as they were texture mapped (well, some things) polygonal enviroments.

If you want to just consider 2D, well the latter DKC games, Chrono Trigger, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Yoshi's Island, Super Metroid, Star Ocean, Terranigma, Sparkster, Bahamut Lagoon, Clock Tower, Clay Fighter 2, Goemon 2, Cybernator, Might and Magic 3, Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius....
