Name Those Pixels: Challenge #5

December 22nd, 2006 by Benj Edwards

Pixel Challenge #5 - 1Can’t get enough pixels, can ya? Merry Christmas, my pixel-loving friends! This week I have a great challenge with a lot of diversity for you to chew on. Here’s a hint: The pixel blocks are from three different game machines — one of which is actually a computer. And yes, that is indeed pixelated cleavage. As always, post your guesses in the comments section of this entry, and don’t be bashful. Good luck!

1: Super Mario Land (Game boy)
    2: Tetris 2 (NES)
3: no idea, maybe a Leisure Suit Larry title?

  2. KitsuneDarkStalker Says:

    Gameboy, NES, Amiga…

  3. MattG Says:

1: Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins! That’s Wario pacing up and down the top of Mario’s castle.

  4. RedWolf Says:

Here’s another hint: Kitsune is right that the 3rd block is from the Amiga. And it’s not a Leisure Suit Larry game (although that’s a good guess, considering).

  5. J Hays Says:

    (1) Super Mario Land 2 for the Game Boy

    (2) Tetris 2 (or Tetris Flash) for the NES

    (3) I’m almost absolutely sure it’s from “It Came from the Desert”.. I know that cleavage anywhere! 😛

Hey guys.. I just thought I’d take an informal survey: How many of you like the “Name Those Pixels” column and want it to continue? Any other comments or suggestions about it? Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks!

  7. J Hays Says:

I like the “Name those Pixels” columns.. Some are very tricky, and I just like trying to figure the game out by a bunch of oversized pixels

  8. KitsuneDarkStalker Says:

    I like it too.

  9. Brian Beck Says:

I really enjoy the mental workout…plus it distracts me from doing any actual work. 🙂
