Hi, I'm the guy who wrote Alpha Waves/Continuum, and I'm glad to see a couple of people think it belonged to the list. Actually, when it was first published, one of the magazine reviews had the following subtitle: "We don't know what the guy who wrote this smokes, but we want the same thing"... To this day, I find this headline hilarious :-)

I bought Galapagos right after it came out, although I didn't have a computer to run it on until about a year after... It's a nice game, although very frustrating with the limitations to the ai that exist, and the fact that the game felt like it needed a training room of sorts. all in all, a good pickup, and yes, a retail version does exist- mac and pc hybrid cd.

Links, hmm...

The Endorfun section has a link to its download page at Home of the Underdogs, an abandonware site. Just make sure you use Firefox and/or a good popup blocker if you go there.

HotU has a page for Archipelagos as well: http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=1537 -- but yo may need to play around with DosBox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1) to get it to work.

In one of the earlier comments I posted a link to a demo of Galapagos: Mendel's Escape, but I don't know of an available full version. And evidently Cyan is working on re-releasing Manhole, so it no longer qualifies as abandonware and can't be found for download. Mono, Duo, and Frets on Fire are all linked in the last paragraph of the article.
