(summer games etc) I still have it and it still works. Never wore out and once you find your grip on the ball it's awesome, never liked the bat as much. wish they made that stick now. they don't do they? Like the others have said, the thing was nearly indestructable, and probably the closest thing you could get to the arcade controls. I am very happy with this joystick and prefer it to the original 2600 joysticks. They're nice sticks, and are very sturdy if you don't abuse them.
