Oh the great days of the early computer advertisements.
I’d start with thinking about my vintage 286 PS/2 Computer i got in 3rd grade.
Big clunky and not a carry with you device, I know, but I have had long great hours with it.

I don’t know. I would probably say my old C128. I used to dream about getting an Amiga 4000 with the IBM and Mac add-on boards. That would have been to run side-by-side with my C128. I did pick up an Amiga 2000 later on, but never got any of those add-on boards I saw in catalogs.
I know, I went a bit off-topic 🙂

Have to be my old 99/4a. I’mma ride the nostalgia train all the way to my final destination.
…
I just hope the p-box isn’t too heavy for carry-on luggage.

Just bought a new BIOs battery for my Compaq Portable II. I’ll have eternity to find an old enough HDD to put in it!

I’d have to say the Atari 800. I could play that machine forever.

The guy seems to ask “Is it a computer or a sawing machine? I can’t believe she can lift that with one hand!”

Oh wow, it’s the Compaq’s less-elegant older brother! Honestly, the thumbnail makes it look less like a computer than an osciliscope.

Anything that can run GNU/Linux fast. But if I’m going to be picky then the best Thinkpad available.

I would take something with a screen. Maybe my Psion Revo, or my Cambridge Z88. I have been toying with the idea of getting a Tandy TRS-80 Model 100 to play with, that might be the one to take.
