    Hmm, I don’t remember any being bona fide scary games, but my favorite 16-bit monster game had to have been Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

    For me, it was the original Doom. It absolutely blew my 11 year old mind back in the day, and was legitimately scary to me at the time.
