    I’m glad you posted the GIFs. The GIF format allows for comments to be put into the file, and sometimes origin information is available by simply opening the image in a text editor. For instance, several of these were made with unregistered versions of GIF Construction Set. Tsk tsk tsk. 🙂

    That’s a very cool piece of digital forensics advice, Brian. One can also look into the EXIF tags on some JPG files.
