For what it's worth "Wall Street Kid" got reamed in this article, "Based on Crap: The 10 Worst Things to Make Nintendo Games About", by Seanbaby:

http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/nes/basedoncrap06.htm

After I actually played that game I was glad I had a decent income, good looks and a decent brain. What is it about excessive wealth that leads peoples' brains to atrophy? For those of us who have a decent income I can only speak for myself when I can say with complete confidence that I really wouldn't have a need for all that money anyway.

Sure, I could create a small empire but not for the sake of power itself but as a tool for subversion for personal entertainment. Something to make a point for the sake of having people first take a glance, and a second take, and realize, "Hey, there's something you don't see everyday!"

Besides, all the money in the world can't hide stupidity. The mainstream media is a prime example of that.

For one thing, I don't eat out as much as I used to. And another, I don't have as much money to blow on collecting old games. I had to sell most of my collection to help pay off my credit card.

I also eat bologna instead of roast beef.
